Alan Conrad Bauer, 33, of Livingston, Montana, passed away Sunday, February 28th, 2015 at his home. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd, from 4-7 P.M. at the Buckhorn Saloon and Theater, 5237 US-89, Livingston. There will be a potluck meal, with a full cash bar available, please bring a dish to share. Alan was born on September 2nd, 1982 to Debra Rickett and John Bauer in Livingston, Montana. Alan was an adventurous child, who always chose his own path. He attended Livingston schools and was a talented wrestling athlete. He went to the State competition two years in a row and placed second. He loved the great outdoors, taking every opportunity he could to go fishing, hiking or camping. Alan was a friend to all and was known for his kindness and generosity. He touched the lives of many people far and wide. He took delight in his exotic pets; Rosy the Tarantula, snakes, scorpions, piranhas and of course his pit bull Baby Girl. His true joy in life though came from his beautiful children whom he loved so deeply. Becoming a father was the greatest achievement in his life, and he was so very proud of his children. We all hope you know peace now Alan. He is survived by his children: Amora Mae Bauer, Alec James and Adam Ray Bauer. Amoras mother, Ashley Linder of Livingston and Alec and Adams mother, Bailey Wing-Bauer of Livingston. Parents, Debra Rickett of Billings and John "JD" Bauer and partner Cindy Evans of Livingston. Grandparents, Pat Miller of Livingston and Jack Bauer and his wife Margaret of Livingston. Sister, Amber Williams and her partners, Brother, Andrew Bauer and his wife, Meghaan all of Livingston and Sister, Alona Romero, her husband Andrew, their children Aleah and Adrian of Billings. As well as many other cousins, relatives and friends who were his family of choice. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother Lodine Moffett, Cousin Elecia Nead, Grandfather Cliff Miller, and Aunt Kathy Nead. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
