Memorials are preferred to: Livingston HealthCare Hospice, 320 Alpenglow Lane, Livingston, MT 59047 or the Shields Valley Community Center, PO Box 18, Clyde Park Montana, 59018. Annabelle was born June 26, 1923 in Livingston, Montana. She was the youngest child of Ingvard and Eva Mae (Pelham) Jacobson. She received her education in the Shields Valley and was a graduate of the Clyde Park High School class of 1941. Following high school, Annabelle went to work at the Workings Store in Clyde Park. Upon his return from the service in 1947, Lester "Les" Frederick began courting Annabelle, and the rest was history. They married May 8,1949 at the American Lutheran Church in Livingston. Their union was blessed with two children, Mike and Cindy. Les died on December 26, 2008. They had shared 59 years of marriage and were an inspiration to all. In the early 1950s, Les and Annabelle ranched at the site of what is currently the site of the Old West Town on the Crazy Mountain Ranch. In 1955, they moved closer to Clyde Park and continued ranching. They owned several different ranches through the years before Les retired and they moved into Clyde Park in 1991. Annabelle had an amazing work ethic, working at Glenns Shopping Center in Clyde Park, a job that she loved for 42 years. Annabelle was sweet and kind. She carried pennies work with her to buy the kids that came in candy. She was the first to welcome new faces to Clyde Park. Her Choke Cherry Syrup was always a hit, as were any of the baked good she would send home with you if you stopped by to visit. Annabelle enjoyed her flowers and visiting with her friends, but most of all, she enjoyed her family. She loved her family very much and took comfort in spending time with them. Annabelles door was always open, and her friends and neighbors stopped by daily to chat, eat, and play marbles. Children especially loved to visit and enjoy cookies and maybe a game. Annabelle has blessed us with many wonderful memories. Annabelle is survived by her children, Mike Frederick and his wife Patty of Helena; daughter Cindy Good and her husband Jerry, of Clyde Park; granddaughter Katie Frederick and her husband David of Las Vegas, Nevada grandson Nathen Good and his wife Krista of Wisconsin; great-grandchildren, Zachary Welch, Rachelle Welch, Amelia Good and Grace Good; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Annabelle touched the lives of many people, and she is also survived by many close friends and neighbors, who have played an important role in her life. Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband Les, parents Ingvard and Eva Mae, and her brothers and sisters, Arthur Jacobsen, Howard Jacobsen, Enid Shclapman, Thelma Perkins, Eva Sasse, Kazan Alverson, and Jim Alverson.
