This was Ann Fleming.She glided through life and met all of its challenges head-on, with courage and dignity. She made it look easy. Effortless. Her life was far from that, but you never heard her complain. She was, above all, a loving and caring mother of her three beautiful girls. She set an example for Linda, Connie and Patricia, and gave them the tools to meet life and all of its trials, with courage and hope always in what joys tomorrow might bring.Anne was born in North Dakota, lived in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Montana. She traveled the world but was at home everywhere. She had a razor-sharp wit and could charm young and old alike. Anne had three lovely granddaughters and 7great-grandchildren. I am privy to all this because her daughters were my closest and dearest friends for a lifetime. She treated my son as though he were her own. Her love and generosity seemed to know no limits.Anne took her final breath April 5, 2021, at home in Livingston, Montana, in the loving, caring arms of her daughter, Patti. She was 97 years old. Every one of those years was lived to the fullest. We miss her already but are comforted knowing she is at peace and at home.
