Anthony G. Lander, aka Tattoo Tony, passed away in his home on Sunday, April 27, 2014. A Celebration of Tonys life will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014, 2:00 P.M. at the Franzen-Davis Chapel in Livingston. Tony was born in Santa Monica, California late on a Thursday. He was a loving, happy boy and the apple of his parents eye. Moving to Livingston, Montana in May of 1985, he attended Park High and made many friends. He was a well-established tattoo artist and left many memorable impressions on his clients and friends. He also was skilled at woodwork, metal work, drawing and even cooking. Tony loved to fish and practiced catch and release for most of his life. Once, he told his mom he was going to learn how to fix a car. He got a book at the library, and he fixed that car! He could learn to do anything and never understood why others could not do that too. He had dyslexia as a child and was an outpatient at Childrens Hospital in Orange, California for 4 years. With training and flashcards, he overcame his dyslexia and owned several businesses. With his diagnosis of Bi-polar disorder and other physical problems in his late 20s, he had another hard battle on his hands. He struggled to overcome them. He leaves a wife, Keri Lander (whereabouts unknown). Ex-wife Rubianne Lander, his twin sons, Anthony and Andy, age 12 of Livingston, Parents, Johann and Laura Anderson of Livingston, Grandmother, Betty Lander of Batavia, New York, Step-mom, Sue Gunther of Orange, California and aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his father, John H. Lander of California. His heart was big and his struggle was bigger. His absence has made a huge hole in many peoples hearts. For memorials, please donate to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
