Avis Lucille (Breeden) Norman

Avis L. (Breeden) Norman, 84, of Livingston, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at her home with family and loved ones at her side. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Noon, Wednesday, August 5, at Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Steven Paugh Leuzinger officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 A.M. Please meet at Franzen-Davis (118 N 3rd St.) prior to the burial to proceed to the cemetery. Memorials may be directed to: Moose Haven, 4750 N Montana Ave, Helena, MT 59602 or the donors choice. Avis was born on April 11, 1931, in Livingston, Montana. She was the daughter of Elmer and Pearl (Miller) Breeden. She attended schools in Livingston. On March 16, 1946, Avis was united in marriage to Edwin Charles "Ed Norman, in Bozeman, Montana during a double wedding with her sister, Helen. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Vicky, Chuck and Ernest John. Avis and Ed resided in Livingston their entire lives. They shared 58 years of marriage. Avis had lived in her home on 7th Street for 55 years. She was a caring devoted and dependable wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She loved children and caring for others. She helped to raise any that were around including her grandchildren, a great-grandson and a niece and nephews. Avis and her sister, Helen were inseparable. They traveled together, went camping and shopping together. Avis enjoyed traveling, especially road trips with her family. She was an avid reader, went camping and enjoyed big family get-togethers. She cherished spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Blessed be her memory. Avis is survived by her: Daughter, Vicky Sievert and her husband, Bud of Bozeman; Son, Edwin Charles "Chuck" Norman Jr. of Lolo. Grandchildren, Tina Tang-Pollardy and her husband, Dave, Lisa Clements, Jim Tang and Trista Stout and her husband, Matt. Great-grandchildren, Michael, Becka, Darrow and Tucker. Brother, Merle Breeden and his wife, Lois of Laurel. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends. Avis is preceded in death by her Parents, Elmer and Pearl Breeden, Husband, Edwin Norman in 2004 and Son, Ernest John Norman who passed only two months ago. Siblings, Ernest Breeden who passed as a youth, Mildred Wade, Irene Hartwell and Sister, Helen Barnhart. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
