Brian Scott Herrold, 56, loving husband and father, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings, Montana. He succumbed to a medical complication of Covid-19.Brian was born on May 26, 1965, in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to Russell Herrold Sr. and Alma Keister.He was a firefighter, an EMT and owner of Spanky's Auto when he was younger back in PA. He dreamed of becoming a helicopter pilot and finished the course. He started his training but due to life's circumstances decided not to pursue it. He also worked as a Fire Sprinkler Inspector for Simplex Grinell for 12 years both in Pennsylvania and Montana. He worked as a Fire Sprinkler Technician III for 4 and a half years at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He also took a Photojournalism class at UAF where 2 of his World Eskimo Indian Olympics photos were featured as an ad for JRN Digital Photography. He also worked as a heavy wrecker operator and recently as a professional CDL driver in North Dakota. Brian married Christina Amparo Bona on June 14, 2011, in Norala, South Cotabato, Philippines. They were happily married for 10 years and together for 12. They packed their belongings and drove the Alaska-Canada Highway to Fairbanks, AK on January 1, 2013, for a job opportunity for Brian. They spent the long winters enjoying the northern lights, beautiful sceneries and wildlife. Six years later, they moved to Livingston, Montana where they have a quiet life. He would always reassure Amy that he was blessed to have her in his life.He was an avid hunter since he was a teenager. He would always look forward to and enjoyed the hunting seasons with his family and friends. He also went hunting with his brother Matt and two close friends in South Africa in 2015. Brian was survived by his wife Amy, daughter Alexandra, mother Alma, and siblings Laurie, Rusty and Matt, sister-in-law Robin, very good friends Rod, Connie and Elaine, and the very precious Ginger. Memorial services in celebration of his life will be on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 1:00 pm at the Faith Baptist Church in Beaver Springs, PA. Interment will follow at Saint John's Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills, Snyder County, PA. The family would like to thank everyone who offered sympathy, condolences and prayers.
