Carl Eric Swanlund

Carl Eric Swanlund, 73, of Wilsall, Montana passed away July 3rd, 2019 from his battle with cancer. Carl was born October 31st, 1945 in San Diego, CA., to Harry and Shirley Swanlund. Carl is survived by his three children; Shelley Renee Swanlund, Eric Vincent Swanlund, Scott Anthony Pisani, his five grandchildren; Ethan Anthony Pisani, Aram Miles Pisani, Karson Avery Swanlund, Emma Grace Swanlund, and Ashlyn Lee Cholin, and his wife, Kristie Swanlund, also of Wilsall, MT. Carl served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967 and obtained the rank of Sergeant during his two tours in Vietnam. Carl's career with the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department included jail corrections, patrol, SWAT, and homicide. He retired as a Sergeant after 25 years of dedicated service. Memorial Services will be held August 17th, 2019 in Wilsall at the Bank Bar & Vault Restaurant from 2pm to 4pm. Veteran's honors will be presented just after 2:00 P.M.
