Carla (Patterson) Middleton

Carla Patterson Middleton, 82, of Livingston, Montana, formerly of Pennsylvania passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Livingston HealthCare Hospital. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory. Her remains will be interred at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery in Downingtown, PA during a private service in summer of 2019.Carla was born on May 8th, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the only child of Edgar Allen "Pat" and Dorothy Randall (Moore) Patterson. She attended the University of Pennsylvania.Carla retired from Rockland Farms, Inc. of Boyertown, PA, where she worked as a laboratory technician performing medical research.Carla enjoyed being a Girl Scout Leader for over 50 years and was a trainer for GSUSA Freedom Valley Council. She also enjoyed the mountains of Montana, traveling, cats, scrap-booking, reading, and genealogy research.Blessed be her memory.Carla is survived by her three daughters; Linda Steele who currently resides in Thomaston ME, Doris (Richard) Stevick of Laurel MD and Susan Myers from Livonia MI. Her eight grandchildren are Michael and Heather Steele; Matthew (Rebecca Mitchell) Stevick, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Runco, Benjamin Stevick, Rebecca Stevick, Margaret (Andrew) Watts and Timothy Stevick. She leaves behind five great-grandchildren; Tristan Laskey; Emma, Samuel, Luke and Eleanor Stevick.Carla is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Dorothy.Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
