Carol was born on May 22, 1964, in Livingston, Montana. She was the daughter of Anita (Williams) and the late Quentin Brawner. She received her education attending Richland Country School, then the Livingston Middle School and was a graduate of the Park Senior High School Class of 1982. After high school Carol attended North Western College in Powell, Wyoming, she later transferred to Montana State University where she earned a degree in education. Following her college graduation she taught at several rural country schools, including Two Dot and one that was 25 miles east of Jordan. She served as a teacher for five years before she desired to come back to Livingston to set her roots. She had worked summers for John Tecca at his grocery stores and took that role on full-time working for Johns IGA then County Market and currently for Town and Country Foods. She had worked with Town & Country long enough to have earned her stock benefit. She was currently very active in the Northern International Livestock Expedition and participated in Future Farmers of America and 4-H in her younger days. Carol had a deep love of caring for children. She had a soft heart that identified with what young children needed and she set a strong example of what a woman could accomplish. Her shining glory was in her nephews and niece whom she adored ever so much and enjoyed every moment spent with them. Her soft and private nature did not hold her back from the gift of gab. She so loved the friends, not customers, friends, that would be in the store visiting, asking about recipes or the location of their needed item. Her love of animals is and always has been her shining attribute. In 4-H, as a girl, she had trained her calf to tow a wagon across the field and back, she had dogs and spoiled them rotten. She had raised sheep at one point and even had a pet raccoon. She especially enjoyed spending time, sharing stories and adventures with her family and friends. Gone from this world too soon, heaven has another beautiful angel, blessed be her memory. Carol is survived by her: Mother, Anita Brawner of Deep Creek, Paradise Valley. Her brother, Rob Brawner and his wife, Brenda "BK" and their children: Charles "Chuck" Brawner and his wife, Beth, Neil Brawner and Audrey Rose Brawner. Nephews, Chuck and Beths son, Nathan and Neils son, Neil Jr. Aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends. Carol is preceded in death by her father, Quentin Brawner in 2009, and niece-in-law Colleen. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
