Memorials are preferred to: American Lutheran Church; 129 S F St.; Livingston, MT 59047. Carol was born on July 12th, 1929, in Quincy, Illinois. She was the daughter of Raymond C and Beatrice J. (Bowles) Cramm. At age seven her parents packed-up the family and moved to Paradise Valley in the Pine Creek area where they ranched. Carol attended grade school in Pine Creek and attended High School in Livingston and was a graduate of the Park County High School Class of 1947. As a senior she began to court Bob Buettner. Bob served in the Merchant Marines and ended up doing a tour in China. On November 12, 1948, Carol Cramm was united in marriage to Robert E. Buettner, at the Pine Creek United Methodist Church in Paradise Valley. This marriage was blessed with two children, daughter Linda and Son Craig. Carol and Bob resided in Livingston starting their family here. In 1962 they moved to Arkansas and opened an A&W franchise. Carol and Bob worked the business together in every aspect. Most days you would find Bob grilling burgers and Carol doing the set-ups and making sure every little detail was done to perfection. They were once inspected and the gal had thought they had just opened; they kept their store immaculately clean. In 1979 they sold the A&W and moved back to Livingston. Bob kept busy with real estate and then operating Park Tire. Carol cared for her aging parents and her grandchildren. Carol and Bob had the home where they live today built to exactly what they wanted. They shared 66 years of marriage. Carol was a natural caregiver. She was always giving all she could to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, was a terrific cook and belonged too many Bridge Clubs to keep count. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Blessed be her memory. Carol is survived by her: Loving Husband of 66 years, Bob Buettner of Livingston. Daughter Linda Chambers of Livingston and Son Craig Buettner and his wife, Shannon of Havre. Grandchildren, Chad Buettner, Chad Chambers, Stephanie Radcliff and her husband, Kelly and Haley Buettner. Great-Grandchildren, Arlo and Berlyn. Sister, Donna Benson of Livingston. Many other relatives and friends. Carol is preceded in death by her Parents, Raymond and Beatrice Cramm, Donnas husband, Robert "Bob" Benson. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
