Catherine Sorenson, age 55 of Bozeman and Livingston passed away on February 25th, 2023.
Kate was akin and loved nature and all wild things. She reveled in the little creatures and beauties of the forest, the sky and the water. She was a student of all things beautiful and maintained a library of knowledge within her beautiful mind. Books were a place where she could find so many mystical and natural wonders. Her bright dimpled smile would always light up when she was leveling a factual tidbit and her groom. He lovingly termed her "Poindexter" anywhere they traveled. She seemed to know all of the natural beauties and names of the monuments and natures gifts. She was much like a woodland nymph, believing that every little thing had its place and could do wonders in tandem with the world around it. She loved her three daughters. Sarah, Lydia, and Hannah. Her grandchildren Ryder, Olivia, Hunter and Creed were the sparkle in her eyes. She was always excited to learn something new about the world around her, which would explain why she had perhaps the world's largest collection of essential oils (jk). She believed in the energy of nature and the human spirit and that all things were connected.
Catherine is survived by her husband, Christopher, her brother, David, her three children, Lydia, Hannah and Sarah Baker as well as her four grandchildren, Ryder, Olivia, Hunter and Creed. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Elmer and Nancy Sorenson.
