Cayden James Leonard, 11, of Livingston, Montana passed away tragically on Thursday July 18, 2019 while riding his bike with friends on a warm summer evening.The family would like to thank the community of Livingston for its overwhelming support. We are especially grateful to the first responders and the staff at Livingston Healthcare. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for everyone and we ask that you respect the familys privacy. While funeral arrangements will be kept private, the family will be holding a vigil at the accident site (100 block Chinook Ave) on Thursday July 25 at 7:00 p.m. We invite neighbors and members of the community to join us in celebrating Caydens life.Cayden was born in Rockford, Illinois on October 23, 2007 to Cassidy (Sallee) Leonard and Greg Leonard. His life centered around riding his bike, playing video games, earning money doing odd jobs, spoiling his dogs Maggie and Georgia, talking to his grandpa on the phone, and doting on his cousin Finley. He was looking forward to hunting with his uncle this fall. Cayden brought joy to all who knew him through his infectious personality, clever comments, and kind heart.He is survived by his parents, friend and grandfather Richard Rupprecht of Winnebago, Illinois, aunts and uncles Dustin & Monica Sallee of Three Forks, Montana and Nicole Sallee & Brad Levandowski of Woodburn, Oregon, brother Joshua Ireland, cousins Finley and Savannah, and his second family Scott, Dawn, Kamren, and Dylan Nailor. He was preceded in death by three of his grandparents, Roger Sallee, Deborah Sallee, and Sharon Rupprecht.Cremation rights have been accorded by Franzen-Davis Funeral home in Livingston, Montana.
