Charlotte Vivian Churchwell

Charlotte Vivian Churchwell, age 94, of Livingston, passed away March, 22, 2014 at Caslen Assisted Living in Livingston. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory. No formal Funeral Service will be held at Vivians request. Memorials preferred to American Lutheran Church, 129 S F Street, Livingston, MT 59047 or Ronald McDonald House of Billings, 1144 N 30th St, Billings, MT 59101. Vivian was born on August 26, 1919, in Superior, WI. She was the daughter of Bent and Marie (Jenson) Emberson. Vivian was baptized as an infant, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Superior and was a graduate of the Superior High School. In July of 1938, Vivian was united in marriage to Bennie Churchwell in Superior, WI. This marriage was blessed with 4 children, Charlotte, Rodney, Duane and Kay. Vivian and Bennie moved to Livingston in 1938 where they raised their family. After living in town for 13 years, they built their family home on the Five-Acre-Tracts. Vivian was a hard-working stay at home mom and gave all that she could for their 4 children. Vivian loved to bake and garden. She was an excellent seamstress. She was well known for her prize winning baked goods at the Park County Fair. She took great pride in all her entries. She has been a member of the American Lutheran Church for over 70 years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Blessed be her memory. Vivian is survived by her: Children, Charlotte Erpenbach and her husband Jim of Billings, MT, Rodney Churchwell and his wife Judy of Livingston, MT and Kay Brown and her husband Bob of Wichita, KS. Grandchildren, Cindy Norskog and her husband Clay, Danny Erpenbach and his wife Bonnie, Debbie Akers, Don Erpenbach and his wife Samantha, Curt Erpenbach and his wife Rachel, Sheri Holden, Shelly Wilson, Stacy Vallie, Scott Churchwell and his wife Misha, Jerry Churchwell and his wife Tammy, Jennifer Churchwell, Brett Brown and Danielle Brown. Great-grandchildren, Cliff Norskog, Angela, Shylah and Sammy Akers, Brandon, Jake and Alex Erpenbach, Tracy Gubler, Adam and Andrew Holden, Nicholas, Benjamin and Elizabeth Wilson, Lauren Vallie, Zara, Preslie and Nash Churchwell, Chris, Brianna and Nathan Sparks and J.D. and Kirsten Churchwell. Great-Great grandchildren, Tytan, Sheyana, and Hunter Norskog, Cole Cade and Jessica Gubler. Brother, Reuben Emberson of Silver Bay, MN. Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
