Clarice A. Humbert, 88, of Livingston, Montana passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Highgate Cottages in Bozeman.Clarice was born in Greenbush, Minnesota on January 16, 1930 to Ingman and Emma (Minarik) Jackson. The family would eventually leave Minnesota for Montana landing first in Richland and then in Scobey, where Clarice attended school, graduating from Scobey High School in May of 1947.She married Roy D. Humbert in Scobey on July 18, 1953. They moved to Billings; this is where Clarice attended Eastern Montana College, and graduated with honors. Throughout the years she was employed by several businesses in various capacities, as well as a teaching school.Clarice and Roy Moved to Livingston in 1970 and have resided here until their deaths. They were both avid golfers and after retirement, they wintered in Twenty-nine Palms, California, they spent their time there golfing while waiting out our Montana winters.Clarice enjoyed crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles, and music. She was a strong, intelligent funny and caring woman. Her family and friends will miss her.Clarice is survived by her sister, Jenny Engberg of Billings, MT; sisters-in-law Lois Jackson Studlier, Joyce Jackson Hawkes and Teresa Jackson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and her dear friend, Marilyn Burdick.She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Humbert; her parents; her brothers, Emil, Manford "Mike" and Earl Jackson; her sisters Jeannette and Gladys Jackson.A private family service will be held in Scobey, Montana.Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston.
