Craig Calvin Wright, 57, of Livingston, Montana. The earthly world lost one of its free spirits with Craigs unexpectedly passing on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Livingston, Montana. There will be a viewing at the Franzen & Davis Funeral Home in Livingston from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1st. Immediately following a Remembrance Celebration of Craigs life will be held at Whiskey Creek. Please bring your favorite "Craig" story to share. A memorial service will also be held in Missouri at a later date. Craig was born in St. Joseph, MO, to Vernon A. "Pee Wee" and Rose Mary (Kirschbaum) Wright. He spent most of his school years in Maysville, MO, and graduated from Central High School in St Joseph. Craigs life was an adventure from his childhood years in St Joseph, on the farm in Maysville, and throughout his adult life. He worked as a private investigator, on the oil rigs in Texas, for armed gaming in Las Vegas, and later as a fossil hunter and entrepreneur in Wyoming and Montana. He loved fishing and rafting and being out in nature. He loved spending time with friends and family. He made a mean pot of pasta, and he was a great story-teller. Craig and Becky were wonderful hosts to all who came to visit them in Big Sky Country. Craig was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents. He is survived by his sweetheart of 25 years, Becky Michie, of Livingston, MT. He is survived by his two children Kandis (Rob) Fuller, Clifton, CO, and Cory (Marion) Wright, Cortez, CO, and 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by 7 siblings: Deb Wright, Sacramento, CA; Chris Wright, Gower, MO; Linda (Denny) Blum, Oregon, MO; Julie (Sam) Blackwell, Cameron, MO; Brian (Glenda) Wright, Wellington, KS; Ace Wright, St Joseph, MO; and Eric (Sonia) Wright, Gower, MO; as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces/nephews. Not to be forgotten among his survivors are many cousins, some of whom were like brothers and sisters to him, and their children; and many dear friends. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston.
