Crystal May Custard, 42, of Livingston, Montana, passed away peacefully Monday, August 7, 2017 at her home. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory. Please join us in celebrating Crystal on Wednesday, August, 16th, 3 P.M. at the Chico Convention Center; we hope to share favorite memories and ask you to bring photos of Crystal to display. Memorials are preferred to her children. Crystal was born on November 13, 1974, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania the daughter of Gail (Butz) and Gene Custard. She was raised in Cresco, PA and received her education at Pocono Mountain Schools before relocating to Livingston, MT and attending and graduating from Park High School Class of 1993. She furthered her education at Montana State University in Bozeman. She began her career at Chico Hot Springs; she worked as the manager of the convention center until her first diagnosis of Leukemia. She then took the role of clerk in the gift shop. Over the years Crystal also worked as a hiking guide, ski instructor, training horses and showing them herself. She loved the outdoors, skiing every chance she had, hiking, going on runs, paddle boarding, motorcycles, ocean view sunsets and being at her dads place in Belize. She enjoyed getting dressed up for nights out on the town or a party at a friends house. Crystal was fun, energetic, outgoing and loved by all that meet her. Her greatest gift and accomplishment was her daughters whom she loved and cherished deeply. She was proud of whom they have grown into and the talents they have. Crystal is survived by her: daughters, Brianna and Mackenzie Watt. Mom, Gail Custard and dad, Gene Custard. Fianc, Dennis Gardner. Special aunt, Dianna Stewart and her children Jonathan and Justin, as well as, other uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Crystal is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marjorie and James Butz, and paternal grandparents, Hilda and Clinton Custard, great-grandparents, "Granny and Pop", Florence and Roy Possinger, uncles, Roger Butz and Paul Custard. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
