Dale Kardash

Surrounded by those who love Dale dearly, Dale John Kardash, age 70, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023.

Dale was born September 20, 1953 in Powell, Wyoming.  He grew up in Livingston, Montana and graduated from Park County High School.  Attending Montana State University, Dale obtained a Petroleum Engineering Degree.  Dale worked in the oil patch throughout the central US for 37 years.  He retired at the age of 58 and moved back to Livingston.  He spent his next 12 years helping care for his mother and volunteering many hours to the Livingston Meals on Wheels program.

Dale is preceded in death by his father, John Kardash, and mother, Nell Kardash.  He is survived by daughter, Courtney (Matt) Backer of Kansas City, Missouri; a son, Shane Kardash of Longview, Texas; sisters, Janet (Barry) Bannon of Livingston, Ellen Kardash of Minneapolis, Minnesota; nieces, Brooke and Betsi and nephew, Billy Bannon.  Also, very close, special friend Carol Peavey and Kale Wallace, who flew to Montana to spend his last days with him.
