Dennis was born on May 16, 1959 in Bozeman, Montana the son of Eugene Gene and Alice (Henderson) Brue. He received his education attending Livingston schools. For a time he worked as a custodian at the Winians School and then the old Livingston Middle School, until it burned down. He was very disappointed when that happened and his job ended. One of Dennis greatest joys in life was he partnership with his father, Gene and their "many ventures" in logging, sawmilling, cutting firewood, machinery, salvage and shopping at the second hand clothing store. Many are the times Dennis would have a story to tell of him and his dads "ventures". They looked after each other right up to Genes passing on May22, 2012, where Dennis was right at his side. Although Dennis passed of natural causes, we as his family believe it was of a broken heart from missing his dad, his constant companion and friend and the time they spent together. We find comfort in knowing that they are reunited again in our forever home. Following Genes passing Dennis came to live with his sister and constant caregiver, Connie Bilbao and her husband Dave. Dennis took immense pride in his "work" at The Miles Building which he did with his brother-in-law Jim Willyerd. Dennis loved life enjoyed taking photographs, going to gun shows with his dad, collecting guns and oil lamps. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and going to McDonalds. Dennis has been the most special big brother to all his siblings. He will be missed so much by so very many. All that had the good fortune to know Dennis are blessed with fond memories of him. Dennis is survived by his: Sisters, Penny Willyerd and her husband Jim, Connie Bilbao and her husband Dave, Bonnie DesChene and her husband Tod all of Livingston; Brother, Dale Brue and his wife Lupe of Texas, also a Half-Brother Max Weiss of Polson. 1 Uncle, 4 Aunts, 8 Nephews, 6 Great-Nieces, 3 Great-Nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Dennis is preceded in death by his Parents, Gene and Alice Brue. He is now at rest with his heavenly father and his mom and dad. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
