Denver Lee Hardesty, 70, of Livingston, Montana passed away with his best friend at his side and a beer in his hand, on Monday, July 31st, 2017. A family celebration will be held at a later date. Denver was born on September 29th, 1946 in Livingston, Montana; he is the son of Charles Kenneth and Margaret (Owens) Hardesty. He attended Park County schools prior to enlisting in the United States Navy on August 28th, 1964. He served on the USS Kenneth D. Bailey during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on August 27th, 1970. Upon his return to Livingston, Denver married Denise Cobb. They were blessed with two sons, Denver and July and a daughter who died in infancy, Sarah. They later separated. Denver worked for the Heat & Frost Insulators & Allied Workers Local 82 Union. He worked all over the west coast and Midwest. On May 3, 2002 Denver married Theresa Schnobrich. In 2005 Denver retired from the insulators union. He will be remembered as a hot rod guy! He loved his classic cars, watching NASCAR and more than anything he loved his grandkids. He is survived by: wife Theresa Hardesty. Sons, Denver Jr. (Sheena) Cobb and July Hardesty. Grandchildren, Wyatt Cobb, Hailey Cobb, step-grandson, Corbyn Smyth, July Hardesty Jr. and Kayla Dawn Hardesty. Brothers, Jim (Faye) Hardesty, Frank Hardesty and sister, Patty Baty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret, daughter, Sarah, brother, Charles "Chuck" Hardesty and cousin, Stan Russell.
