Doreen Ellen (Johnson) Olson

Doreen Ellen (Johnson) Zander Olson, age 65, of Livingston, passed away from natural causes on Friday, December 18, 2020 at her home in Livingston, MT. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory and a celebration of her life will be determined at a later date.Doreen was born on December 16, 1955 in Livingston, MT to Gerald and Janie Johnson. She graduated from Park High School in 1974.On August 3, 1974 she married Timothy Zander, who she lost in a tragic accident on October 31, 1974. On January 20, 1975 their daughter Nicole was born. She married Thomas Olson on July 4, 1979 and they had a daughter Stephanie on May 2, 1980. In 1997 Tom and Doreen divorced but, still remained close friends.Doreen worked as a bookkeeper at Martins Caf, for her in-laws Bob and Marian Zander. She later became a baker and worked for Riccis Thriftway, County Market, Albertsons and Town & Country.Doreen enjoyed drives up the Boulder and to the Natural Bridge with her sweetheart Bill Fallang and their little dog Cheetah. She liked to sew, listen to music, and her favorite color was pink. She loved to spoil her grandchildren Alexis, Jasmine, Brianne and Sebastian, and she never let a special occasion pass without letting her loved ones know she cared for them.Doreen is survived by her daughters, Nicole Zander (Aaron Hansen) and Stephanie Olson; her father, Jerry Johnson; sisters, Debbie (Phil) Day and Barb Romans; nephews, Greg Day, and Kevin, Jonathan and Andrew Romans; and grandchildren, Alexis and Brianne Ewan and Jasmine and Sebastian Griffin.She is preceded in death by her mother, Janie Johnson; brother-in-law, Casey Romans; nephews, Thomas Romans and Brian Day; and niece, Cecily Olson.Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
