Doris J. Loomis

Doris Joann Rockefeller Loomis of Livingston, Montana passed away at her home on February 16, 2025, she was 83 years old.

Doris was born April 17, 1941 in Los Angeles California to Emery (Rock) and Edna (Rockie) Rockefeller. She grew up with her parents and sister, Cozie in Downey California later moving to Bellflower California where she raised her 4 daughters and had her first antique shop. In 1988 she relocated to Livingston Montana where her and her husband, Carl Loomis opened their antique shop over Carters Bridge. They both loved their business and the friends they made along the way. Doris also loved gardening, decorating and cooking and her passion for all 3 kept her quite busy. 

Doris is survived by her daughters, Kathe (John) Wolfe of Garden Grove CA, Terry Spring of Laurel MT, Shelly (Glen) King of Corona CA and Tiffaney Loomis of Livingston MT as well her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister and her step son. 

The family will have a private gathering to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
