Dorothy (Reynolds) Fletcher Kelsey, age 85, lifelong Livingston resident, passed away peacefully Saturday, January, 18, 2014 at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital with her family by her side. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 24, 1 P.M., at the Livingston Christian Center (1400 Mount Baldy Drive) with Rev. Dr. Duane Huie officiating. Viewing will be held Thursday, January 23, at Franzen-Davis from 10am-5pm. The family will receive friends and family from 5-7 pm Thursday; also, one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery following the service. Fellowship luncheon will follow the interment at the Christian Center. Dorothy was born on April 10, 1928, in Livingston, Montana. She was the daughter of Valen C. and Nellie L. (Skillman) Reynolds. Dorothy was baptized in the Christian Faith at the Assembly of God Church in Livingston. She received her education in Livingston and was a graduate of the Park County High School Class of 1946. After high school, Dorothy was a driver for Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher. Their son, Sam, returned from the Army, and met Dorothy. On March 5, 1954, Dorothy was united in marriage to Sam V. Fletcher, at her family home in Livingston. This marriage was blessed with four children, Virginia, Eunice, Lora and Joyce. Dorothy resided in Livingston her entire life. They shared 40 years of marriage before Sam's passing on June 27, 1994. Dorothy was an extremely hard working woman. She was employed at Woolworth's, Montgomery Wards, KPRK as a bookkeeper and was the City Treasurer for Livingston for many years. Dorothy was a lifelong member of the Livingston Christian Center. She also served the church as a Sunday School teacher and was very active in their bible study groups and Woman's Missionary groups. She was an avid member at Curves for 15 plus years and was a volunteer for Sky Federal Credit Union's Supervisory Committee. In the late 90's Dorothy met Kenneth Kelsey, they were married on January 2, 1999, at the Livingston Christian Center. They shared 15 years of marriage. Dorothy adored Ken. He was by her side every minute during her brief illness up until her death. In her younger years, Dorothy enjoyed sewing, camping, snowmobiling and sharing life with her family. She loved all games, whether scrabble, board games, cards or a puzzle. Most Sunday afternoons, after retirement, Dorothy could be found playing games with a group of gals from the church. At age 75 Dorothy learned a new talent, painting. She enjoyed taking lessons locally and learning technique from Bob Ross tapes. She was honored to show her work at the Livingston Center for Art and Culture. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Her family takes comfort in knowing that Dorothy is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Blessed be her memory. Dorothy is survived by her: Husband, Kenneth Kelsey of Livingston. Daughters, Virginia Engle and her husband, Mark of Livingston, Eunice Krebs and her husband, Glen of Great Falls, Lora Gay and her husband, Ron of Ennis and Joyce Fletcher of Whitefish. Grandchildren, Josh Bailey and his wife, Emily, Holly Engle, Brandy Engle, Leslie Massengill and her husband, Michael, Gabe Krebs and his wife, Louise, Ben Krebs and his wife, Samantha, Andrea Hendershott and Ian Hendershott. Nine Great-grandchildren. Siblings, Velva Black of Ballantine, MT, Virgil Reynolds and his wife, Linda of Melvin, TX, Vernon Reynolds and his wife, Marlene of Radcliff, KY. Nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Dorothy is preceded in death by her Parents, Valen and Nellie Reynolds, Husband, Sam Fletcher, Brother-in-law Ben Black and Nephew, Bill Black.
