Dorothy Grace Raney, 90, of Livingston, Montana passed over the rainbow to join her husband on March 6, 2022. Dorothy was born in Clyde Park, MT, on March 4, 1932, to Moody & Rose Hillman, the youngest of 4 girls. Dorothy grew up in Livingston and met her husband, Bill, while working at the Park Theater. They married on September 19,1948. In July of 1949 they had a baby girl, Diana. The family then moved to Plentywood, where she had 2 more children, a son, Eugene, in 1952, and a daughter, Doreen, in 1954. Dorothy was a homemaker, and Bill was a projectionist at the local theater.In 1960, the family moved back to Livingston. Dorothy had a variety of jobs. She was prep cook at the Cave, a waitress and cook at the Safeway Lunch Counter, as well as working at Wilcoxson's Cafe, the Subway Bar, and other restaurants in town. Dorothy also worked at Claires Closet and the Depot Museum.Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents, three 3 sisters, a niece, and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by her daughters, Diana (Patrick) McClain, and Doreen (John) Kalien; a son, Eugene; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. In accordance with Dorothy's wishes, no services are planned. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
