Edward Ephraim Turner 'E.E' came into this world on November 1, 1951 and returned home on August 28, 2017 from Livingston, Montana. He was the second son of John and Virginia ( McHugh) Turner. E.E. descended from a long line of Turner's beginning with John Turner who arrived in America from Lands End, England in 1690. E.E. attended St Peter and Paul grade school in Cary and graduated high school from Divine Word Seminary in East Troy, Wisconsin. He continued his studies at Loras Catholic College in Dubuque, Iowa where he received a bachelor of arts degrees. E.E. was an artist, naturalist, spiritualist and jack of all trades. After college he pursued his craft specializing in water colors. He did a series of paintings capturing rural scenes in Cary and the surrounding area. E.E. did paintings of many of the local taverns like Lil's and also places like Warner field where he played little league baseball with his brother and childhood friends. He also loved to paint landscapes especially the large oak tree's and oak groves of the area. E.E. was also a naturalist, he loved hiking in the gravel pits of Cary and the mountains of Montana. He was very knowledgeable of the geology and land features of America. His love of nature shows in the many landscapes he painted. He also had a kinship for the Native Americans and their cultural and spiritual beliefs. He loved going to Crow fair on the reservation not far from where he lived. The most important part of his life was his pursuit of spiritual enlightenment. He spent ten years with the spiritual group Church Universal Triumphant in Paradise Valley, Montana. E.E. lived the last 30 years of his life in Montana. He was an advanced practitioner of the spirit world and it's energies. E.E. is survived by his two brothers, Thomas Turner of Cary, Illinois and Patrick 'Babe' Turner of Long Bay, Jamaica W.I. He was uncle Eddie to five niece's and nephew's and six grand niece's and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Michael 'Turtle' Turner.
