Edward L. Uhl, 85, of Livingston, Montana passed away, Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 at Livingston Health and Rehabilitation. A Graveside Memorial Funeral Service will be held on the Friday, April 7th, 10:00 A.M. at the Mountain View Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery. Ed was born on June 8th, 1931 in Livingston, Montana to Lloyd Wallace and Helen (Diltz) Uhl. He began his life in Park County, eventually married, and was blessed with two children, Cheryl and Douglas. When Doug was born the family headed west. The children were raised in Washington where Ed worked as a carpet installer. He taught the trade to his son and Doug who has been working the same trade ever since. Ed came back to Livingston in 1983 making this his home through retirement. Ed had been living at the Sherwood Apartments and most recently a resident of Livingston Health and Rehabilitation. He is survived by his children, daughter, Cheryl Malloy of Livingston and son, Douglas Uhl of Mount Lake Terrace, WA. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Helen Uhl and brothers, Donald and Robert "Bob". Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
