Elliott Deon Gillen, 40, of Livingston, Montana passed away suddenly in his sleep on Sunday morning, June 12th, 2016. A memorial funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 18th, 5:00 P.M. at the Franzen-Davis Chapel (118 North 3rd Street). Elliott Deon Gillen was born on October 26, 1975 to Margaret (Elliott) Baker and Erick Deon Gillen in Delta, Utah. Elliotts 17 year career in mining took him from Nevada to Alaska and everywhere in between. He took great pride in his work as a miner, as well as his time spent working as an EMT. When his mining career came to an end, Elliott loved digging in the dirt, helping his son Deon in the garden. He enjoyed hunting with his family and looked forward to hunting season every fall. When he wasnt hunting or digging in the dirt, you could find him at the gun range or riding around in "Big Blue" listening to his favorite music, and spending time with his family. Elliott was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He was a giving man, and would do anything for anyone. He is survived by his wife, Stefanie Gillen; his children, Katlyn, Layne and Lily Gillen; sister, Teresa (Shawn) Lawlis of Arlington, WA; brothers, Cullen (Katyra) Baker of Billings, Shane Baker of Helena, Zane (Marcy) Baker of Lompoc, CA, Warren (Peg) Baker of Carlin, NV; and many beloved nephews and nieces. Elliott is preceded in death by his father, mother and son, Deon. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
