Erma Birdie Bellah, 91, of Auburn, AL passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Mrs. Bellah was born in Livingston, Montana to Byrd Clark and Cora Luella Clark of Clyde Park, Montana. A celebration of Ermas life will be held on Saturday, July 16th, 1:00 P.M. at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home, 118 North 3rd Street in Livingston. She is survived by her son Jamie Ray Bellah and wife Karen of Auburn, Alabama and by granddaughter Audrey Bellah Taylor and husband Ryan Taylor of Missoula, Montana. She graduated from Park County High School in 1943 where she was valedictorian of her senior class. Erma attended business school in Livingston, Montana. She married Roger Irl Bellah of Moore, Montana on January 24, 1948 and lived and farmed in Moore for several years until moving to Hamilton. The family moved to Coeur dAlene, Idaho for a short time. Erma lived in Arvada, Colorado from 1965 until 2013 and was an active member of Arvada United Methodist Church. She worked for over 30 years at the State Home and Training School in Wheatridge, Colorado where she was beloved. Erma was a devoted wife to husband Roger and a caring dedicated mother and grandmother to children Jamie and Cynthia and granddaughter, Audrey. She was a talented seamstress and she loved nature (particularly birds), dogs and cats and she was an avid gardener. In addition, Erma was a skilled fisherman routinely out-fishing her husband much to his dismay. In 2013, Erma moved to Auburn, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Shields Valley Elementary School Science Fair Program, P.O. Box 40, Clyde Park, MT 59018, or to the Arvada United Methodist Church, 6750 Carr Street, Arvada, CO 80004.
