Florence M. Gray, 99, of Livingston, Montana, formerly of Chicago, IL passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at home. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 8th, at the Franzen-Davis Chapel with Father Navil Rodriguez officiating. Coffee and cake fellowship will follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Adalberts Cemetery in Niles, IL at a later date. Memorials can be made to St. Marys Catholic School, 511 S F St.; Livingston, MT 59047. She was the loving daughter of John and Mary (Pantkowski) Hoppa. In 1937, Florence was united in marriage to Chester Gray. This marriage was blessed with three children. Florence resided in Chicago raising her family. The love of her life, Chester passed away in 1975 after they had shared 38 years of marriage. Florence enjoyed shopping, and was quite good at it. She always found the best deals and the best outlet stores. She could never pass up a good deal on a canned good in the grocery store either. She enjoyed her home and the peaceful time she spent reading many books or just enjoying a cozy place to sit. She and her daughter Judy had traveled the northwest recently to sightsee, go shopping and visit family. She had a quirky personality which she shared with others up to her last days. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Blessed be her memory. Florence is survived by her: son, Wayne (Janice) Gray, and daughters, Judy (Ronald) Siebeck and Christine (Albert) Seaton. Loving Grandmother to: Maria, Sheri (Dennis) Fisher, Karen (Mark) DeKeersgieter, and Leslie. Great Grandmother to Katelyn and Rylee. Florence is preceded in death by her parents, husband Chester, granddaughter, Kathleen and two brothers and three sisters. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
