Frances Jean Dunlap 93, of Sun Lakes, Arizona and formerly, Livingston, Montana, passed away at her home in Sun Lakes, AZ on Saturday, January 9th, 2016 with her hospice caregivers at her side. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M., on Monday, January 18th, at the Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. 10:45 A.M. at the Franzen-Davis Funeral Home (118 North 3rd Street; Livingston) we will then proceed to the cemetery for the service. Frances was born in Jamestown, North Dakota on June 29 1922 the daughter of Gottlieb and Bertha Dobler. After graduating high school she moved to San Diego, California where she met Bill Dunlap who was in the Navy. They were married on June 20, 1943. After Bill was discharged from the Navy in 1946 they moved to Livingston, Montana. Frances began her life in Livingston as a homemaker, taking care of her four children until they began school. She then began working at the sporting goods store, Dan Bailey's Fly Shop. She thoroughly enjoyed her job and met so many nice people. After retiring she and Bill moved to Sun Lakes, Arizona. There they both enjoyed playing golf, going on cruises, taking vacations, and having a great time with their friends. Frances is survived by her daughter, Penny Jo Johnson (Lane Taylor) of Las Vegas, NV. Grandsons, Todd (Debbie) Dunlap, their daughter, Madison; grandson, Terry (Valerie) Dunlap, their sons, Justin and Austin. And her Brother, Hilmer (Lucene) Dobler of San Diego, CA. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Bill of 70 years, sons Tommy, Terry, and Richard Dunlap. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston.
