George Preston Brown

George Preston Brown, son of Rose and Justin Brown, brother to Connor, left his delicate body Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Childrens Hospital Colorado in Denver, due to severe, unexpected physical complications.George was born "en caul" October 22, 2017 at home in Livingston. Immediately showing breathing and eating difficulties, Georges first big adventure was to receive medical support for laryngomalacia, a congenital airway restriction expected to get better on its own as early as the age of 5 months. At three weeks old George learned to eat from a bottle with the help of oxygen support and was able to leave the hospital and return home, where his condition continued to improve day by day. He grew into a delightful baby, smiling, cooing and laughing, even though breathing and eating remained a challenge.George had deep blue eyes, a calming presence, and a sense of being wise beyond his age. He was truly a gift to his family as he transformed our lives with his loving gaze and attention. And he was thoroughly adored, cherished and snuggled by his family. While it hurts to say goodbye to someone so precious so soon, we are consoled in knowing that Georges short time in our lives has been a profound blessing, and that blessing will continue and grow as his soul and his memory stay with us.George is survived by his parents, Rose and Justin Brown, and his brother, Connor, of Livingston; his maternal grandparents, Gloria Ross and George Boyer, of Livingston; his paternal grandparents Lin and Dan Martin of Big Timber, and Spencer Brown and Jeanne Hay of Billings; his great-grandmother, Shirley Abraham of Big Timber; as well as his great-aunts, great-uncles, uncles and cousins.We are holding a service of remembrance at 2:00 P.M. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 310 W Lewis St, Livingston; a potluck reception to follow at the Livingston Elks Lodge, 130 S 2nd St, Livingston. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
