Gertrude Haidle, 84 of Livingston, Montana, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Seeds of Love Care Home in Livingston. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 A.M., at the Franzen Davis Chapel, Monday, August 24th. A reception will follow at the Livingston Hope Church on South 3rd and Clark Streets, following the service. Mom dedicated her life to service and care giving, first for her younger sisters and brothers, then her husband and children. She was an accomplished Ranch and Farm Wife, Ministers Wife, and Mother, raising three children of her own and fostering two others. All this was done while working full time caring for the elderly and volunteering in her church. When her own family was raised and gone she built a career as the Activities Director for The Livingston Convalescent Center and later The Frontier Retirement Home. She earned many awards for her many years of dedication and excellence of service. In later life she experienced heart problems. Once again she reinvented herself and became active with the Livingston Healthcare Cardio Rehab Program, first as a patient, then a volunteer and finally an employee. She retired at the age of 80. Mom was dedicated to her faith and her church. She loved the family she had at the Livingston Congregational Church and spent many a morning over coffee with her lady friends. After a life of giving and service she found a safe and loving home with Mike and Chanda Anderson of The Seeds of Love where she spent the final days of her life. We want to thank Mike & Chanda , Cassie, Shannon, Deanna and Sandy Williams who helped Mom get her wings ready for flight. When she left there were no lines of worry or pain on her face. Memorials are preferred in memory of our Mother, to CASA, a youth advocacy program or the Livingston HealthCare Cardio Rehab Program. Gifts of time and service can be made to the aging and the young of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston.
