Glenn Franklin Bud Shipley

Glenn Franklin "Bud" Shipley, 71 of Livingston Montana passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Livingston HealthCare Hospital. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, January 11th, 11 A.M. at the Livingston Elks Lodge. Please bring a dish to share as it will be a potluck meal. Sharing of memories will be held at Noon. Bud was born on Sunday, January 3, 1943, in Breezewood, PA the son of the late Wilbert 'Jim' Mills and Mary (Hanks) Mills Yoder. In his earlier years, he worked for K&B Engineering, based in Dallas, TX, building communication towers. He was a sawyer for Price's Logging in Everett, PA before moving from Pennsylvania to Montana permanently in 1999. Bud worked as a ranch hand on the Cremer Ranch in Melville, Montana for many years. He was a loyal and hard-working man. He will be remembered for his gentle way with kids and for his enduring spirt. He is survived by two children: Glenn F. Shipley Jr. and his wife Amberly Shipley of Hopewell, PA; and Amanda Shipley; and by one granddaughter, Brianna Shipley of Everett, PA. Also surviving are seven brothers and sisters: Beverly Heckman of Breezewood, PA; Dorothy Jackson and her husband Herb Jackson of Breezewood, PA; Connie Fluke and her husband Sam Fluke of Everett, PA; Dewayne Mills and his wife Janice (Serenko) Mills of Clearville, PA; Vaughn Mills and his wife Beverly (Price) Mills of Everett, PA; Thomas Mills and his wife Deborah (Kalfas) Mills of Everett, PA; and Timothy Mills and his wife Joanna (Foor) Mills of Six Mile Run, PA. Dearest friends, Larry Connolly and Shonna Counts and their two children, Russell and Lacey all of Shawmut, MT; Gerald "Chip" Connolly and his children, Donald, Cecil and Brandi all of Melville. Bud was especially close to Cecil and Lacey. As well as, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mildred Mills.
