Gloria was born on June 6th 1936, in Livingston, Montana. She was the daughter of Kinnie and Martha (Babcock) Ford, the youngest of five daughters. She received her education in Livingston and was a graduate of the Park County High School Class of 1954. Following Glorias graduation from high school she began her career with the railroad. She worked for the railroad as a Stenographer from the beginning of her career to her retirement. Also following graduation she married, Bud Ferrell, they were blessed with a son, Duane. She and Bud later separated. She later married Bob Nelson, and was blessed with her son, Mark. After Bob passed away she was united in marriage to Jim Bliler. Jim passed away in 1997. Those that have Glorias memory on their mind will remember her as Strong. She knew many hardships in her life and never had an ill word to say. She never complained; furthermore, she persevered. She fought cancer, not once, not twice but three times and the third had the better of her. She was caring; always there for everyone else. A sweet lady who was always too generous, almost to a fault. Gloria lived the saying of: "what doesnt kill you makes you stronger". She was a member of the Moose Lodge; she bowled, and was quite good. She and Jim fished off the shore of Oregon; Gloria had bested Jim for the largest Salmon caught, much to Jims chagrin. She was creative, crafting many ceramic sculptures in her younger years and was also quite an accomplished piano player. She adored her dogs, all Schnauzers. Glorias smile brought happiness to many. Every time you greeted her she brought her light into your life. Blessed be her memory. Gloria is survived by her: Niece, Sandy Monson and her husband, Ed of Billings; Niece, Karen Bates and her husband Duane of Spokane, WA; Nephew, David OBrien of Butte: and Nephew, Everett Babcock and his wife Bonnie of Stone Mountain, GA. Step-Grandson, John Mohr of Oregon. Great-nieces, great-nephews and many other relatives and friends. Gloria is preceded in death by her three husbands. Her Sons, Mark who died of a vehicle accident at age 16 and Duane who died from complications of diabetes at age 49. Her parents and Four Sisters, Grace, Betty, Lois and Norma. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
