Harold "Tommy" Thomson, 93, of Livingston, Montana, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Frontier Assisted Living with his loving wife at his side. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 22, at the Franzen-Davis Chapel with Bishop Trevor Strupp officiating. Viewing and visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment and the dedication of the grave will be at Parkview Memorial Gardens in Paradise Valley. Tommy was born on July 27th, 1922, in Boise, Idaho. He was the son of William and Rosetta Virginia (Anderson) Thomson. On September 28th, 1940 Tommy was united in marriage to Pearl Hazel Murphy, in Grandview, Idaho. This marriage was blessed with 5 children, Sharon, Harold, Douglas, Pamela and Mark. Tommy and Pearl started their lives in Boise, ID and moved to Livingston in 1953 with the Downer Lumber Co. Tommy managed the company for many years until their bankruptcy. He then Managed Birkland Stud Company and the Birkland Sawmill in West Yellowstone. Later in life he worked at the Park County incinerator until age 80 when he finally retired. Tommy and Pearl shared 75 years of marriage. Tommy was a hardworking man dedicated to his jobs. His crew always held him in high regard. He loved anytime he could spend hunting or fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Blessed be his memory as he now rests with his Lord and Savior. Hes gone fishing. Tommy is survived by his: wife Pearl who loves Tommy so dearly. His children, Sharon K. Snow of Livingston, Harold E. Thomson and his wife, Yvonne of Forsyth, Douglas C. Thomson of Livingston, Pamela M. Thomson of Livingston; 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren; sister Vanda Robinson and her husband, Duane of Flagstaff, AZ. Many other relatives and friends. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, 6 siblings and son, Mark Thomson. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
