Helen P. (Putzker) Coscik, age 100, of Livingston, Montana passed away on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at the Livingston HealthCare Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a family remembrance and burial of cremated remains at Mountain View Cemetery in Livingston, will be held 1:15 PM, Saturday September 19th. Please meet at the cemetery. Helen was born August 25, 1914 to John and Mary (Mitchell) Putzker on the family homestead on Little Pine Creek, Chimney Rock, Rural Park County, Montana. The family later moved to a farm on the banks of the Yellowstone River near the Pray Bridge. Helen attended Elbow Creek Elementary School. Helen was united in marriage to Haakon L. "Hank" Nelson. The couple ranched in Park County south of Livingston. They raised shorthorn cattle and sheep, as well. They were blessed with four children, John H., Harold, Pauline M. and Ann Karin. Helen was widowed and later was wed to Elmer Coscik. They lived together in Gallatin County for 30 years before his passing. Helen had been residing in Livingston at the Diamond K Lodge where she was a beloved fixture. Helen is survived by her: Children, John Nelson and his wife Chris of Hancock, WI, Pauline M. Mack of Big Timber, MT and Ann Karen Kitts and her husband Mike of Spokane, WA. Numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren and Great-great Grandchildren. Other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her Parents, both Husbands, a Son Harold and 2 Brothers and 1 Sister. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston.
