Helen Louise (Garlock) Sarisky, 90, longtime Livingston, Montana resident passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Livingston Health and Rehabilitation. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory. A celebration of Helens life will be held this summer with interment at the Mountain View Cemetery. Helen was born on April 22, 1924, in Billings, Montana. She was the youngest daughter of 10 children born to Charles and Laura (Reynolds) Garlock. She received her education in Billings, graduating from high school there. Following her school days Helen was united in marriage to John Charles Sarisky, in Billings. This marriage was blessed with three sons, Lonnie, Charlie and Albert. Helen and John moved to Livingston in 1945. They have resided here ever since. Helen was employed at the Livingston Hospital as an LPN for 23 years. Becoming a nurse became her goal after contracting Polio and spending time in Billings in the Iron Lung. She retired in the mid-1970s. Helens heart always belonged to her family. In recent years her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed taking them camping up Mill Creek and taking weekend trips to Yellowstone Park. She was always a care giver to those around her. She was hard working and devoted to her husband, sons and grandchildren. Some of her pass-times were bowling, tending her flowers and keeping a small garden. We are blessed to have had her love. Helen is survived by her: Son, Albert and his longtime companion Trudy of Idaho Falls, ID. Three Grandsons, Jason and his spouse Jon, Travis and his wife Aurora and Scott one Granddaughter, Marci. Two Great-Grandchildren, Andrew and Jonathan. Other relatives and friends. Helen is preceded in death by her Husband, John Charles who passed in 1991, her two Sons, Lonnie and Charlie, Five Brothers and 4 Sisters as well as, her Parents, Charles and Laura Garlock.
