Herbert George Watts, 87, of Livingston, Montana passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. He had the love of his family at his side. Herb was born to Henry and Isabelle Watts in Sanders, Montana, on November 25, 1931, the youngest of 10 children.Herb is a veteran of the US Army, having served in the 3rd Infantry Division, achieving the rank of Corporal while stationed in Korea (1949-1951). He was decorated with Occupation Medal (Japan), Korean Service Medal, and three Bronze Service Stars.After completing his military service, he married Dotty Cauthron on June 7, 1953 in Miles City. Herb loved his family, his horses, hunting, fishing, playing his mandolin, and rockhounding. Herb worked a variety of jobs and always said he was a Jack of All Trades & a Master of None. He was proud to have been an instructor at Yellowstone Automobile College in Billings. One of his most treasured memories was building a family cabin with his sons.Herb retired from Livingston Rebuild Center in 1995.Herb is survived by his wife Dotty; children, Chuck, Ken (Gisela), Cyndy (Gordon) Rigler, Connie (Todd) Norling; grandchildren, Jason (Megan), John (Corinna), Jordan (Theresa), Jamy Watts, Chase Erickson, David, Michael, and Jennifer Watts, Josh (Mindy), and Jay Rigler, and Nicole (Phil) Monohon; his great-grandchildren Abigail, Taylor, Vance, and Tristan Watts, Dustin, Haley, and Kendra Rigler, and Michael Monohon; and brother, Harvey Watts of Miles City as well as, many nieces, nephews, and their families.A celebration of life will be held in the spring, an announcement will be made closer to the date.
