James Leslie Harper

James (Jim) L Harper, age 66 of Livingston MT went home to be with the Lord on February 3rd 2022.Jim was born November 17, 1955 in Glendive MT. He was the son of Archie and Betty Harper.Jim enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, ATV's and story telling. His favorite activity was spending time with his granddaughter. He took pride in being Papa. Many who knew Jim knew he was a jokester and story teller. He met his match when Delanie arrived.Jim is survived by his son, Cody (Brandi) Harper of Livingston; granddaughter, Delanie Harper of Livingston; daughter, Brandi (Alex) Marcano of Puerto Rico; grandson, Ethan of Puerto Rico; honorary grandmother, Leslie Hellman; sister, Peg (Jake) Jacobsen of Livingston; sister-in-law, Hope Harper of Seattle; and his nieces and nephews.Jim will be deeply missed.Jim is preceded in his death by his parents, Archie and Betty Harper; and brother, Roy Harper. Arrangements under the direction of Franzen-Davis Funeral home and crematory in Livingston.In the Name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit, we will meet again. A Private family memorial will be held in the spring. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
