Jantje "Yanny" Engelhart of Livingston Montana transitioned into the heavens and into the hands of her Lord and Savior on Saturday March 19, 2016. Our mother was an incredibly well loved soul. Mom gave her love freely and without question to everyone who came into her life. Mom was born in Steenwick, the Netherlands, and was the eldest daughter of Berend and Johanna (Gorel) Zwolle. It was in the Netherlands where she met our father, Jacobus Johannus Engelhart. Mom and Dad fell quickly in love and eloped to marry in a castle in Edinburgh, Scotland. From Scotland, Mom and Dad decided to pursue the American Dream and made the journey to New York. In America, Mom and Dad created for themselves a wonderful life. Mom loved entertaining her friends and building a new family. We are so grateful to her for the extended family she created for all of us. Mom gave four of us life. She loved us immensely. Mom and Dad taught us to be a loving people. They also taught us to be independent, take risks and develop our own lives. You could not have a better advocate than Mom to help guide your way. No matter the journey, Mom never wavered in her love for you. We are grateful beyond words for our Mothers gift to us and those who are blessed to know her and those that have become part of our lives along the way. Mom knew so many and held friendships with all of you. She loved you. On behalf of our family, thank you, we love you too. Mom is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jacobus "Co" Johannus Engelhart, her sons Nicolaas "Nico" Alexander Engelhart and his wife Annette and their son Nicolaas, Berend "Bren" Jacobus Engelhart, and daughters Natascha Johannas Engelhart and her daughter Brooklyn, "Omi" Engelhart-Zollinger and David Cameron Zollinger. She is also survived by her brother Lammert Zwolle and other family members and friends. A special love for Moms best friend Kaethe. We will hold a celebration and reflection of Moms life on Saturday April, 2nd 2016 at Holbrook United Methodist Church at 2PM. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home.
