Jeff E. Cronin

March 9, 1953 — September 22, 2013

Jeff Cronin, design draftsman, general contractor and set designer for well-known films, TV and buildings restoration, died in Livingston on September 22 at the age of 60. Longtime Montana resident, Jeff was an avid sports fan who cheered on the NY Rangers and Atlanta Braves. He was a trivia expert and was known for his ingenuity and craftsmanship whether designing/building sets for "A River Runs Through It", "Driving Miss Daisy" or for TV ads for Chevy and Ford trucks or for TV shows such as "Amazing Race". Jeff was well known around Livingston for designing, building and restoring the Garniera"Miles Building, Murray Hotel, Cowboy Connection, Timber Trails among many others. Jeff was a graduate of Huntington High School, Huntington N.Y., and attended both the New York Institute of Technology and the Architectural Woodwork Institute in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Jeff was the son of Edward Cronin and Ethel Mettler Cronin and is survived by his two sisters, Gail Ettinger and Mary Beth Minton and his two brothers Greg and Doug Cronin as well as his nieces and nephews. Jeff Cronin had a life well lived, unquestionably did his coloring beyond the lines and will be deeply missed by his friends and family. A private memorial service will be held by the family and friends at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
