Jennie Louise Weber

April 14, 1924 — March 28, 2021

On Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021, Jennie Louise (Lopez) Weber passed away at the age of 96. She was born on April 14, 1924 in Pocatello, Idaho to Sam and Rose Lopez. At a young age, the family relocated to Livingston, Montana. Jennie grew up winning hearts with her one-of-a-kind laugh, fun personality and contagious smile. She loved her family, made a mean pot of spaghetti & meatballs, enjoyed a good square dance, found joy in a heated debate over current events, and loved to call out ‘Shoot the moon' when playing pinochle. She lived through the depression, wars, a pandemic and so much more...and yet she brought unremitting joy to those around her. If you knew her, you would know: 1) Nobody ever left her house hungry 2) Her ‘secret' ingredient in homemade pancakes (hot bacon grease!) 3) When she smiled and laughed with a head nod, it meant she didn't know what you said, but respected you enough to let you keep talking. We are all fortunate to be a part of a true love story....She and her husband, Robert were married for OVER 76 years! It all started in high school as he tutored her in math and she typed his papers...until February 27, 1945 when they were married - THIS is a true love story. Grandma left this world peacefully holding the hand of the man she loved. The stories could go on and on, but for now, just know she left the world a brighter place that it once was and our family will forever remember the legacy she has left behind. Jennie - you are forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.Jennie is survived by her husband, Robert; Daughter, Cathy (Billy Wayne) Denison; Sister, Betty Ratliff; Granddaughters, Tanya (Steven) King and their children, Amanda (Ben) Dalman, Gabriel, Connor; Brandi (Justin) Wallace and their children Dani, Paxton, and Teagan. In lieu of family gifts, please consider donating to St. Mary's Catholic School, PO Box 646, Livingston, MT 59047. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
