Jennifer Leigh Relaford

March 20, 1979 — May 16, 2015

Jennifer Leigh Relaford, 36, of Livingston passed away suddenly on May 16, 2015 following a long illness. A celebration of Jenns life and burial of her cremated remains was held on Friday, July 17th at Mountain View Cemetery. March 20th, 1979 Tina Ingram was blessed with a beautiful, vibrant baby girl. Smile so wide, and eyes so bright, she chose to name her precious gift Jennifer Leigh. While still a baby she was adopted by Fred and Marlene (Ayers) Parker. She attended schools in Livingston, and studied Health Information Technology at Montana State University, Great Falls. From her first marriage Jen was blessed with three wonderful children, all beautiful girls, who she absolutely adored. She was amazed at the beauty and talents of each. She lived in Livingston, Bozeman, Belgrade, and Great Falls. After her divorce, she returned to Livingston. She was then united in marriage to Thomas Relaford on April 20, 2010. Following their marriage the couple moved to California, but soon returned back home to Livingston. Jen was a vibrant, good hearted person, who was loved by many. Despite the many hardships life threw her way, she was very strong willed. Her thrill seeking nature called her to try anything once, maybe even twice if she liked it. She had deep passion for life and the things that were important to her. Sometimes her passion was mistaken for attitude, but it's only because she was misunderstood by so many; her passion was real and for no other purpose. She always looked forward to being outdoors with her friends and family, and spent many memorable weekends rock-hounding, camping, hiking, and fishing. Jen was a very sincere and loving person, who loved spending time with her friends and family. Those left behind to remember Jen include her husband, Tom Relaford; children, Chrystal Stockwell, Danika Counts, and Justus Stockwell; sister, Holly Renvick; brothers Chris Stockwell, Mick Stockwell, and Terry Parker; parents, Fred and Marlene Parker; her cousin, Christy Beatty; and Christys children Taylor Kellogg, Jessica Stewart and Kameryn Stewart. She had many more friends and relatives that will mourn her loss. She was preceded in death by her mother Tina Ingram, and her maternal Grandma Joy (Adams) Henderson. We say that the hour of death cannot be forecast, but when we say this we imagine that hour as placed in an obscure and distant future. It never occurs to us that it has any connection with the day already begun or that death could arrive this same afternoon, this afternoon which is so certain and which has every hour filled in advance. - Marcel Proust
