Jerry "Pete" Denton Jerry Michael "Pete" Denton II, 57, of Clyde Park, passed away on November 17, 2016, at Livingston Healthcare, surrounded by his family and friends. A celebration of Petes life will be held on Saturday, December 10th, 2:00 4 :00 P.M. at the Shields Valley Community Center - Clyde Park. Pete was born in Springfield, IL on August 11, 1959 to parents, Jerry and Patricia Denton. He was a 1977 graduate of Clyde Park High School. Following graduation, he attended Helena Vo-Tech, completing their welding program. Pete worked locally as a logger and as a welder for the railroad in Livingston. He later traveled extensively as a structural welder on high-rise buildings. Pete enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, woodworking, fishing and hunting. He was always there to help out when he could. He was a member of the Colstrip Moose Lodge 2190 and assisted in many activities for the Moose and the American Legion at Colstrip. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Denton, step-father, Jerry Hughes and his son, Jerry J.D. Denton. He survived by his mother, Pat Hughes of Clyde Park, his daughters, Carri Corine Denton of Billings, Katie Ann Denton of Bozeman and Kelsey Michael (Colt) Stoddard of Dillon, MT. Granddaughters, Indigo, Paisley, Zamira and Haven. Grandson, Harper. He is also survived by brother, Steven and sisters, Cheryl, Nicole and Jerri, along with several nieces and nephews. Pete was a much loved father, son, brother and friend. His presence in our lives will be deeply missed. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
