Jon Ernest Norman

October 14, 1950 — May 29, 2015

Jon Ernest Norman, 64, of Livingston, Montana, passed away following a long illness on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Livingston Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday June 2nd, at St. Marys Catholic Church with Father Navil Rodrigues as Celebrant. Graveside committal and burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will follow the burial at the St. Marys Catholic School Gymnasium. A Rosary vigil will be held on Monday evening at 7:00 P.M. at St. Marys. Jon was born on October 14, 1950, in Livingston, Montana. He was the son of Edwin C., now deceased and Avis (Breeden) Norman. He received his education in Livingston and was a graduate of the Park County High School Class of 1970. Following his graduation Jon went to Wyoming, there he worked for a children with disabilities home. From there he went to Denver, CO and worked at St. Lukes Hospital as an Aid for three years. When he moved back to Montana he worked in Bozeman at the Gallatin Valley Rest Home. Jon later cared for a neighbor, Dick Bragg, who had been paralyzed. Jon had suffered from health issues throughout his life. Even so, he strived to be of service to others. Jon enjoyed collecting books, reading and cooking. Blessed be his memory. Jon is survived by his: loving mother, Avis Norman of Livingston. Sister, Vicky Siefert and her husband Bud of Bozeman. Brother, Chuck Norman of Lolo. Nieces and nephews, Tina Pollardy and her husband Dave, Lisa Clements, Jim Tang and Trista Stout and her husband Matt. Great-niece and great-nephews, Michael, Becca, Darrow and Tucker. Aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. Jon is preceded in death by his Father, Edwin C. Norman, and his name-sake, Uncle, Ernest. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
