Joshua Mark Hill, 7, of Livingston, Montana went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 25, 2014. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He has received a new body in heaven and is now running and jumping for the first time ever. Although Joshy's life was short, his impact was great. His smile melted hearts around him and although he never spoke his voice was clearly heard. Joshua was born to Alicia Rose Hegar on February 8, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alicia loved her son so much she allowed him to join a new family that was able to love him as much as she does but also able to help him in a way she could not. In July 2008 Joshy joined the Hill family and what a blessing he has been. Joshy enjoyed music, camping, his tapper toy, and his laughing Elmo and Cookie Monster. He loved being with family, swimming, rides in the car down a bumpy dirt road and sitting outside on a windy day. He loved worship and praising the Lord in his own special way. His body on earth may have failed him, but in heaven it is now perfect! Now he can see. Now he can talk and sing. Now he can run and skip and play. Now he can even eat a cheeseburger. No more sadness. No more pain. Just peace and happiness remain! Joshua is survived by his parents Denis and Julie Hill; his Sister Katie and Brothers DJ, Colby, Dawson, and Levi Hill; his Montana family, Aunt Jen, Uncle Len and Cousins Matthew, Amanda, Adam, Caleb, Michaela, Wyatte, and Wade Claar; and his California family, Great-Grandma Mary Jo Sterkel, Grandma Sarah Walker and Grandma Wanda Hill, Nana Sharon Lingo and Papa Michael Lingo, Uncle Benny Hill and Aunt Kathy Hill, Uncle Eric Lingo and Aunt Debra Lingo and Cousins Josh and Alex Hill, Anthony and Kat Lemaster, and Jessica Lingo. So many will miss him but he will forever remain in our hearts. Please join us in celebrating Joshy's life 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 2nd at the Livingston Christian Center. A balloon release and reception will follow the service. A private family interment will precede the the service at Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brendan B. McGinnis Congenital CMV Foundation, P.O. Box 2018; Arvada, Colorado 80001.
