Joyce Vander Voort, 74, of Livingston, Montana and recently residing in Wilsall with her daughter, passed away of natural causes on April 15, 2015 at the Livingston HealthCare Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 21st , 1:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (110 W Summit St; Livingston). Graveside dedication and committal service will follow at Park View Memorial Gardens. Fellowship will be held at the Church following the interment. Joyce was born to Velford and Effie Della (Perry) Van Orden, the youngest of seven children on October 6, 1940 in Livingston, Montana. Joyce married Ray Vander Voort on August 22, 1983. She was employed by the State of Montana (Department of Health and Human Services) for nearly twenty years. Joyce enjoyed her job and all the people she worked with through the years. She has remained friends with many of them even after retirement. In 1992 Joyce received the Governors Employee Recognition Award for all her service to the State. Joyce is survived by her Daughter, Catherine Wrights and her husband Roy of Wilsall; Four Step-Children, Patricia, Ed, Tammy and Kevin; Seven Grandchildren Charles Brawner and his wife Beth, Lydia Juhnke and her husband Clint, Omega Kinsey and her husband Colton, Sarah Pulis and her husband Michael, Rebekah Dunkel and her husband Stuart and Anna and Grace Wrights; Five Step-Grandchildren, Mary Lena Phares and her husband Chris, Katie Ziegler and her husband Shane, Roy Wrights Jr. and his wife Gwen, Jodi Wrights and Tracy Hall; 13 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Barbara Shandy; Brothers, Velford Van Orden and his wife Delores, Perry Van Orden and his wife Lela and Paul Van Orden. Many Nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. Joyce and Ray also helped raise two foster children, Angel Monk and John Vidrine. Joyce was preceded in death by her Parents Velford and Effie Della Van Orden, her Husband, Ray and Siblings, Evelyn and Raymond.
