Katharine Ann Neel

Katharine Ann (Fleming) Neel passed away peacefully Sunday, September 5th, 2021 inLivingston Montana surrounded by family, at the age of 89.Kay was born to Edward & Estelle (Vizzard) Fleming in Livingston, Montana on June 12th, 1932.She was raised in Livingston, and often entertained her family with stories of her small townadventures throughout her childhood. She attended Saint Catherine's College in St. Paul,Minnesota for one year then moved on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Seattle University.Soon after graduating, she moved to San Francisco to be near her sisters. It is there that shemet and fell in love with her upstairs neighbor, William (Bill) Neel. She married the love of herlife on June 23, 1962 in San Francisco. They eventually moved to Mountain View where theymade a home on St. Giles Lane and raised their three daughters. They lived there for over 30years where they made lifelong friends and memories. Following the death of her husband in2013, she moved to Redwood City and ultimately Billings, Montana.She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William S. Neel. As well as both of hersisters, Marybeth "Hon" Fleming and Joyce Calanchini.She is survived by her three daughters; Stephanie (Ray) Roberts of Spring Hill, TN; Andrea(Steve) Crowley of Redwood City, CA and Aimee (Mike) Nunn of Billings, MT., and her sixgrandchildren by whom she was known fondly as "TuTu"....Will, Carson, Conner, Jesse, Brody &Kaden.Kay was a loving wife, mother, tutu, sister, aunt and friend to all who know her. She will begreatly missed.A celebration of life will be held in October. Ultimately her ashes will be buried in Livingston,Montana alongside her husband Bill and her sisters. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
