Kathleen Marie Ullrich

On April 3, 2019, Kathleen Marie Ullrich went home to be with Him, her creator, whom she always felt a closeness to as a believer in Christ.She was comforted by knowing she would be greeted by her loved ones who preceeded her in death. Her husband of 22 years, LeRoy Ottomar Ullrich and her loving parents, John Richard Immekus and Marjorie Kathleen (Caughlin) Immekus.She began her life on January 19, 1943, in San Diego, California as the eldest of three children. She spent her early years in Long Beach and Sunnyvale, California where she received her degree from Healds Business College and went to work at a Dental Office.In 1963, she married Harold George Stammer, Jr. This marriage was blessed with two daughters, Christina Marie and Marjorie Kathleen.On March 28, 1976, she was united in marriage with LeRoy Ottomar Ullrich in Sacramento, California. Their union was made complete when Julieanna Suzanne was born on August 23, 1977, also in Sacramento.Throughout Kathleens life, her faith in God was a consistent thread of truth and guidance that she followed and clung to. In 1989, the family moved to Emigrant, Montana to continue her journey of faith in the Church Universal and Triumphant. Living in Montana fulfilled her love of Community, Church and the natural beauty of Gods Country. She loved living in the mountains surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of Emigrant Peak, a site that she cherished seeing daily.Family and faith were what mattered most to Kathleen. She spent her life dedicated to caring for Christina and making sure that Christina lived the fullest life possible in spite of her disabilities, because in her eyes, Christina was perfect just as God intended. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her daughters and playing with her grandchildren, especially sharing in their love of sports together. It took no encouragement to get her out on the soccer field with them, swing in Sacajawea Park or to climb the jungle gym as she always said she was a child at heart. She also had a special connection with her son-in-law Kevin who became the son she never had, always ensuring that her needs and joys were fulfilled. She is survived by her daughters, Christina Marie Stammer; Julieanna Suzanne Wellman and son-in-law, Kevin Joseph Wellman; Marjorie Kathleen Rackley and son-in-law, Scott Rackley.She has five grandchildren: Levi Kevin Wellman, age 7, Mason James Wellman, age 10, Aidan Lee Wellman, age 13, Morgan Gail Ferne Rackley, age 21, and Meghan Nicole Rackley, age 23.She is also survived by two siblings, Richard Immekus and Bonnie Wheeler and nieces and a nephew.For the past several years, Kathleen was fortunate to have a close friendship with Chris Schleining whom she shared many walks with. They enjoyed doing puzzles together, sharing stories and most importantly laughter.She resided at Frontier Assisted Living beginning in December 2012 where she made many friends with staff and residents. She especially enjoyed playing bingo and participating on the activity bus trips to Paradise Valley. Kathleen attended St. Andrews Church during her years at Frontier, where she was able to continue her faith and sing her praises to the Lord.Kathleen lived by a motto her family would like to share in hopes that others will do the same she called it the 3 Hs: To always live life by being Happy, Healthy and Holy. This sums up the life she enjoyed and to the end, she was able to stay true to those sentiments.She will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her!Please note the location change: A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., on Monday, April 8th, at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 310 W. Lewis St, Livingston. A reception will follow the service at church.
