Keith Alan Lukas

Keith Alan Lukas, 62 of Livingston, MT passed away the 14th of August 2020. After years of battling many health issues, primarily CHF, he is finally at peace and out of suffering in his home in heaven. Keith was born in May of 1958 to his parents, Jerome and Nancy Lukas in Ohio. He was the eldest of three boys, followed by his brothers Daryl and Gary. He attended Start High School where he was captain of his football team and achieved a place on the All-State football team, graduating in the top of his class in 1976. After having attended the University of Toledo for a few years, he began working summers in Yellowstone National Park. His love for the park and outdoors led him to work for the park service for 5 seasons, where he happened to meet his future wife who was also working in Yellowstone at the time. He graduated from the aforementioned University and was later married to Corlin Hagenbuch in Ronan, MT in February of 1984. Keith worked several jobs before landing a position in landscape at the University of Montana. He quickly rose through the ranks and within a few years became the superintendent of landscape and grounds. While there, he won two national, PGMS awards for his work on the campus. Montana was the perfect location for Keith as he loved nature and took the rare opportunity to enjoy a hike, fishing, hunting, and a Yellowstone vacation. Although he enjoyed activities of this world, he came to the knowledge that it all meant nothing without his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Keith was born again during his time in college and strove to be a good Christian example to those around him in order to witness for the gospel. Keith was survived by his wife, Corlin and his four daughters, Shana, Serah, Kerstie, and Emily who are all from Montana and provided many grandchildren. Living in the Toledo area are his mother, Nancy; brother, Gary; brother, Daryl and his wife, Diane and their two children.Keith was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Lukas. A wake beginning at 2 p.m. followed by a service celebrating Keiths life that will take place 3:30 P.M. on Thursday, August 20th, 2020 at the Franzen-Davis Funeral Home in Livingston, MT. The service will be officiated by Pastors Gary Morse and Dave Beedy. Any donations may be directed to the widow. Please see a family member for contact information.
