Kenneth Jack Burton of Bozeman, Montana passed away Friday, February 12th one day after his 95th birthday. He was born February 11, 1926 to Mildred and Chet Burton in McCook, NE and is survived by his sister, Patricia Louise Wagner, who resides in McCook, NE. He married Mildred Louise West in 1956 in Pensacola, FL. They have four daughters: Cynthia B. Bowen, married to Dwight Bowen (son Daniel) who reside in Atlanta, GA; Shirlee B. Langston, married to Chris Langston (son Jed and daughter Maggie) who reside in Bridger, MT; Karen B. Weller, married to Bob Weller (sons Doug and Jeff and daughter Melissa) who reside in Orlando, FL; and Sharen B. Olson, married to Dirk Olson (son Jacob) who reside in Livingston, MT. Ken served 34 years in the service of his country, initially in the Navy during WW II and then became one of the initial helicopter pilots in Army Aviation. While serving in the Army he was deployed in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. Interment will be at the Georgia National Cemetery on March 2nd, due to Covid-19 the family will be holding a private grave side service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Ken Burton.
